Samsung is all set to launch its premium TV series, the Samsung Neo QLED 8K TV, in India. The launch event, titled “More WOW than Ever”, will take place on May 4 at 12 noon. The company is expected to unveil both 4K and 8K resolution TVs under the Neo QLED series, equipped with various features like dark mode, ambient mode, game mode, and voice control, running on the Tizen operating system.
The upcoming premium TV will feature ultra-thin bezels, equipped with Quantum Matrix technology that displays hidden details in still or motion pictures with ultra-fine contrast. The Neo QLED panel features the latest Quantum Matrix Technology Pro Display System, providing a 1.5 times larger brightness area than the normal quantum dot matrix technology, offering accurate colors and skin tone shades.

TV is claimed to be the world’s first Pantone-certified 8K TV, passing Pantone’s rigorous testing and calibration standards for color fidelity. It also features audio-visual tracking OTS Pro technology for superior sound quality.
The new Neo QLED 8K TVs will also come with built-in IoT hubs and sensors, enabling customers to control other smart gadgets at home through their smart TV, remote, and supporting phone. Samsung has already announced pre-launch offers, enabling customers to order the new Neo QLED 8K for Rs 5,000 and receive up to Rs 15,000 off.
Like most new Samsung devices, such as the Galaxy S series phones, the components, remote, and packaging of the new Neo QLED 8K TV are made from recycled materials. Customers can watch the launch event live on Samsung’s official India YouTube channel and website. The company has not revealed any information about the screen size of the TV as of now.
